Delivery route planner for florists
Funeral homes by 10, hospitals before noon, offices by 5. Drop puts the day’s arrangements in an order that meets those deadlines, sends each route to your driver’s iPhone, and emails the customer a photo of the flowers at the door.
A morning of deadlines, planned in seconds
Most flower orders come in by phone, website and text. Paste them into Drop as they are, or share them in from another app. Drop picks out the names, addresses, phone numbers and times like “deliver by 10 a.m.,” and shows you any address it isn’t sure about on a map so you can fix it with a tap.
Give the funeral home its 10:00 deadline, the hospital its noon cutoff and the law office its “before 5.” Drop orders the route around those windows and the few minutes each stop takes at the door. If you know better, drag a stop where you want it, or lock which stop comes first or last.
Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day: the second van
On surge days one driver becomes three. Add your extra drivers, and Drop splits the stops between them so each route is balanced and the time windows still hold. Move a stop from one van to another by dragging it, then tap Send. Each driver has their route on their phone within seconds.
Hiring a friend for the day who doesn’t have the app? The office can share a read-only link to that driver’s route. It works through the day after the route, and you can turn it off any time.
The delivered photo is your thank-you note
Your driver taps Delivered, takes a photo of the arrangement, and picks “Handed to customer” or “Left at front door.” The photo is stamped with the time and place. Your customer gets an email in your shop’s name, colors and logo with that photo, so the person who sent the flowers sees that they arrived.
Earlier in the day, the same customer got an “on the way” email with an estimated window, such as between 11:00 and 12:00, and a tracking link. If the route runs late, Drop lets you send an update. If nobody was home, the driver picks a reason and takes a photo, and the stop lands on your exceptions list to sort out.
The standing orders
The weekly hospital lobby arrangement, Sunday flowers for the church, the hotel front desk every Monday. Save a day’s stops as a recurring route, such as every Friday, and Drop creates it for you the day before. Recurring routes are part of Drop 10.
What it costs
If you drive your own deliveries, Drop is free for one driver and up to 25 stops a day, with no time limit. A shop with up to three drivers on the road on a given day fits Drop 3 at $29 a month ($290 a year). Drop 10 at $49 a month adds recurring routes and starts with a14-day free trial. Your fifth driver who only works in February doesn’t count on the days they aren’t driving. Compare every plan.
