Delivery route planner for furniture and appliance stores
A sofa up three flights, a washer hooked up in the basement, a dining set that needs two people. Drop plans the day around 2-hour windows and real time at each house, and keeps photos of every piece at the door and in place.
Windows your customers can plan around
Customers take time off work for a delivery, so give them a 2-hour window when they buy. Enter that window on the order, and Drop builds each truck’s route so the stops fit inside them. The morning of, customers get an email in your store’s name with an estimated window, such as between 10:00 and 12:00, and a tracking link that shows how many stops away the truck is.
If a route runs long, Drop flags it on the office’s live map, and you can send the customers who are affected an update.
Real time at each stop
A recliner drop-off is not a fridge install. Set service time per order, from 25 minutes for a carry-in to 45 for a hookup, and Drop plans around it, so the 2:00 window isn’t already lost by 11:00. Mark the two-person orders with the two-person flag, and the crew sees it before they pull up.
With Drop 10, add each truck’s capacity so Drop doesn’t plan more pieces than fit on board.
Photo proof for damage disputes
Most damage claims come down to when the scratch happened. Your crew takes a photo at the door and another in place, each stamped with the time and place, and can collect the customer’s signature on the iPhone. The originals are kept with a SHA-256 fingerprint and are never edited.
When a claim comes in, make a dispute pack: one PDF with the photos, signature, times and outcome for that delivery. It’s documented, time-stamped proof you can send to the customer or your insurer in a minute instead of a week of back-and-forth.
When a delivery can’t happen
Nobody home, the wrong address, or a piece that arrived damaged: the crew taps Couldn’t deliver, picks the reason and takes a photo. The stop goes to the office’s exceptions list, and the customer gets an email in your name. The office can move the rest of the day’s stops between trucks or add a last-minute pickup without replanning from scratch.
What it costs
With up to three trucks out on a given day, Drop 3 is $29 a month or $290 a year and includes proof PDFs and dispute packs. Drop 10 at $49 a month adds truck capacity and the driver’s approximate position on the customer’s tracking page, with a 14-day free trial. Larger stores with more than one warehouse should look at Drop 25. One owner-driver can start free, with up to 25 stops a day. Compare every plan.
