Subprocessors
Last updated October 14, 2026
Four companies help us run Drop: Apple, GoDaddy, Postmark and Google Workspace. They process information only on our instructions and only to provide Drop. All of them process it in the United States.
These are the companies that process personal information for Drop, on our instructions and only to provide Drop. The Data Processing Addendum and the Privacy Policy explain how we handle that information.
| Name | What they do for Drop | Data involved | Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apple Inc. | Sign in with Apple; push notifications and Live Activities; App Store subscriptions; Apple Maps on the device to find addresses and drive times, and the map picture on tracking pages | Apple account identifiers; notification content; subscription records; addresses; the map’s centre, the customer address’s coordinates and the driver’s approximate position (no names) | United States |
| GoDaddy | Hosts our servers, database and stored files, with backups on the same server | Everything Drop stores, encrypted in transit; backups are encrypted | United States |
| Postmark, a service of ActiveCampaign, LLC | Sends emails to customers and members, and reports delivery, opens and bounces | Recipients’ names and email addresses, and the messages | United States |
| Google Workspace | Our support inbox, support@illuminantinc.com | Only what you write to us | United States |
Drop has no other subprocessors. It doesn’t send text messages, so there is no text message provider; if texts are added later, this page will be updated first.
Changes
We’ll update this page and tell businesses in the app at least 30 days before adding a subprocessor that handles customer data, except in an emergency, when we’ll tell you as soon as we can. You can object by writing to support@illuminantinc.com.
